Wendy Grant, the Founder of Caring Interventions, has 30+ years experience in social work and now works as an Independent Social Worker.
"I have worked in various Local Authorities Children and Family services, including child protection. I also have extensive experience in the family justice system, specifically private law proceedings (child contact arrangements). During my work as a Family Court Advisor at Cafcass I recognised the acute lack of support for parents and grandparents in private law proceedings. Cafcass plays a vital role as the voice of the child but parents and grandparents are often at a loss during the proceedings, even if they have legal support. Caring Interventions aims to provide a specialist services to parents and grandparents who are currently in or who have lived experience of private law proceedings within the family justice system.
What I offer is a unique, kind and caring intervention service for separated and divorced parents and grandparents of those separated/divorced parents who feel disempowered by the family court process. I will share my understanding, knowledge and experience of the court process and related complexities that can leave any parent and grandparent feeling lost and confused. I will support you through the process by providing specialist caring interventions through one to one support, small group interventions and bespoke specialist reunification if court ordered."
