University to appoint single legal services provider to £2.52m contract
Aston University has issued a tender notice for the procurement of a single service provider who will be able to service all of its needs in the UK and overseas.

The university said the procurement would also:
- deliver a service provider "who has significant experience of higher education and so is able to provide sector-specific advice";
- deliver added value services over the duration of the contract;
- deliver cost certainty for Aston through clearly articulated pricing menus and access for Aston to accurate billing data.
The contract is scheduled to run from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2027, with two possible two-year extensions to 31 August 2031.
The tender submission deadline is 27 May 2025, 12:00pm.
The estimated award decision date is 30 June 2025.
The award criteria are quality (weighting: 80%) and price (weighting: 20%).
