Cornwall Council has appointed Warwickshire County Council alongside eight law firms to its £12m legal framework agreement.

The Cornwall Council Legal Framework Agreement 2025 has been divided into the following lots:

  • Lot 1 – Commercial and Employment
  • Lot 2 – Property Planning and Highways
  • Lot 3 – Civil Litigation
  • Lot 4 – Regulatory
  • Lot 5 – Multi-disciplinary projects over £1m

Those selected were:

  • Ashfords (lots 1, 2)
  • Browne Jacobson (4)
  • Clarke Willmott (2, 5)
  • Coodes (4)
  • Davitt Jones Bould (2)
  • DWF (1, 3, 4, 5)
  • Freeths (2, 3, 5)
  • Sharpe Pritchard (1, 3, 4, 5)
  • Warwickshire County Council (1, 3)

The council said the framework will be available to all Cornwall Council-owned entities together with other public sector bodies in England including local authorities, police and fire authorities, central and local government arm's length organisations, agencies and controlled companies and NHS bodies, schools and academies who all have need for legal services.
