Sheffield Hallam University has appointed four law firms to a legal services framework worth an estimated £2m over five years.

The contract was divided into the following lots:

  1. Corporate, Commercial and Regulatory (non-contentious).
  2. Disputes and litigation; and Student matters (non-contentious and contentious).
  3. HR and Employment law (non-contentious and contentious).
  4. Real Estate, Property and Construction (non-contentious and contentious).
  5. Full Service.

The successful firms were:

  • Shakespeare Martineau (lot 1)
  • Mills & Reeve (lots 2 and 5)
  • Veale Wasbrough Vizards (lot 3)
  • Davitt Jones Bould (lot 4)

The contract is expected to run until 31 July 2029.

The firms will be expected to provide high quality support to the University and its in-house legal team in all aspects of their work.
