Law firm Capsticks has bolstered its Housing Management team with the appointment of Amy Stirton as Legal Director.

Capsticks said Stirton would be dedicated to working with registered providers in the North, Midlands and West Yorkshire to further develop the firm’s presence in the regions.

Stirton, who has worked in the sector for 14 years, joins from Ward Hadaway, where she was a Director of Built Environment (Social Housing). Previously she spent a decade at Forbes Solicitors.

Mike Owen, Head of the Housing Management team, said: “It’s my pleasure to welcome Amy to our team. She has an excellent reputation and substantial experience. I have no doubt that our clients in her regions will feel confident with her by their side.”

Stirton will be based at the firm’s Chorley office headed by Partner Paul Lloyd.
