University to procure £4m legal services framework for 2022-26
The University of Sheffield is to procure a legal services framework agreement worth an estimated £4m over four years.

The university said it intends to appoint a framework of four to six providers to form a legal panel, with each firm providing a comprehensive service under the following categories:
- Commercial Legal Service
- Employment
- Physical Estate and Construction
- Governance and Regulations
- Dispute Resolution
The contract is expected to start on 1 August 2022 and run until 31 July 2026.
The university said the purpose of the proposed framework was to create a relationship with the selected legal firms based on an understanding of the university's practices and culture that will deliver the highest quality outputs while offering value for money”.
