Two major providers of affordable housing in the North East and Yorkshire are to procure a legal services framework worth an estimated £5.8m.

Karbon Homes and Gentoo each manages around 30,000 homes.

The contract has been divided into eight lots:

  1. General Property (value: £920,000).
  2. Development (£1.18m).
  3. Planning and Construction (£480,000).
  4. Property Securitisation (£1.4m).
  5. Housing and other landlord and tenant matters (£580,000).
  6. Governance and Compliance (£360,000).
  7. Corporate, Commercial and Finance (£480,000).
  8. Employment and Pensions (£400,000).

The framework is due to last 48 months from the commencement date, with an 24 initial months and options to extend for 2 x 12 months.
