Three new High Court judges named with further appointments expected in coming months
Three High Court judges have been appointed with effect from 1 October 2021.
The Courts and Tribunals Judiciary said it was anticipated that further appointments would be announced in the coming months.
The three new justices, all assigned to the Queen’s Bench Division, are:
- His Honour Judge Barry Cotter QC;
- His Honour Judge Stephen Eyre QC; and
- Heather Williams QC.
The appointments will fill vacancies in the High Court following elevations to the Court of Appeal and confirmed retirements.
