Two North of England housing associations to procure £3m legal services framework jointly
Two housing associations in the North of England are to procure a solicitors framework worth an estimated £3m.
- Details
North Star Housing Group provides homes across the Tees Valley, North Yorkshire and County Durham.
Castles and Coasts Housing Association owns and manages more than 7,000 properties in rural and urban communities across the North of England, with around 75% located in Cumbria.
The two housing associations said they wished “to commission a framework for the provision of legal services from independent firms of solicitors in the private sector to support the delivery of a range of housing related activities”.
It is estimated that the contract value is likely to be around £600k per annum with an overall contract value of around £3m over the full term of the contract including any extensions. “This figure is an estimate only and may be exceeded. However, no guarantee is given as to any level of business to be awarded through the framework.”
The initial term of the contract will be 24 months with the option to extend for a further 24 months on a 12 plus 12 basis.
The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 5 pm on 11 October 2021.
