The National Audit Office has appointed two law firms to a contract to provide legal services worth more than £1.8m.

The tender was divided into two lots:

  1. Constitutional and Public Law (estimated value £1,510,000); and
  2. Local Public Audit Law (estimated value £345,000).

The successful firms were:

  • BDB Pitmans (lot 1) and
  • Bates Wells (lot 2).

The contracts are due to last for 48 months with the option to extend for a further period of 24 months.
