Housing association picks seven firms for £600,000 legal panel
A housing association with more than 20,000 homes across England has named seven law firms to a 'Development & Growth' legal services panel worth over £600,000.

The panel will assist Accent Housing with its plan to develop more than 2,000 new homes over the next four years. According to the contract, the successful providers will handle all aspects of the purchase of land for the purpose of developing social housing as well as the sale of houses, including on the basis of shared ownership.
The contract was divided into lots based on the following geographic regions:
- North
- East
- South
The successful firms were:
- Bevan Brittan (1, 2, 3)
- Brabners (1, 2)
- Devonshires (2)
- Muckle (1, 2, 3)
- Penningtons Manches Cooper (1, 2, 3)
- Perrin Myddelton (2, 3)
- Shoosmiths (1, 2, 3)
Each lot's award criteria were the same, with price weighted at 30% and quality and technical merit at 70%.
The contract will run for a period of 4 years and commenced on 8 January 2021.
