Wiltshire names Holmes as next Director of Legal & Governance
Wiltshire Council has named Perry Holmes, Chief Legal Officer at Medway Council, as its Director of Legal & Governance.

The local authority’s Officer Appointments Committee made the choice last month (27 January).
Holmes has been Chief Legal Officer at Medway since 2012. He was also the authority’s monitoring officer and a member of its senior management team.
Prior to Medway, he held senior roles at Leicester City Council and Fenland District Council.
Holmes said that he was “hugely excited about bringing my skill set to benefit the community of Wiltshire”.
