Scottish social landlord appoints two firms for legal services over 2019-2024
Govan Housing Association has named two law firms to provide legal services over the next five years.
The framework was divided into the following lots:
- General Legal, Contractual, Procurement, Construction, Acquisitions and Property Conveyancing.
- Housing and Estate Management which includes Factoring.
- Governance, Financial Management and Charity.
- Employment Law.
The successful firms were BTO Solicitors (Lots 2, 4) and Harper McLeod (Lots 1, 3).
The maximum number of lots that could be awarded to one tenderer was three.
The award criteria were quality (weighting: 70%) and cost of service (weighting: 30%).
The arrangements will be for a 3-year period with the option to extend for 2 x single 1 year periods solely at Govan’s discretion.
The housing association owns and manages more than 1,600 properties in the local area.
