Educational business names law firm to legal advisory contract
NCG Corporation has appointed law firm Muckle to a contract for the provision of legal advisory services for up to four years.
NCG, which was seeking “measurable, high quality and high value-added legal services”, has appointed the firm for a contract period of one year with options to extend for three further periods of 12 months.
The contract will cover:
- Governance and student affairs and commercial and corporate.
- Property, estates and construction and employment and pensions.
It was awarded on the basis of quality (weighting: 65) and price (weighting: 35). NCG said it received five tenders.
NCG’s businesses includes seven colleges and two training providers. It works with 45,000 learners and 7,800 businesses every year, operating in 61 locations across the UK.
