The University of Wolverhampton has appointed six law firms to a legal services panel worth an estimated £1m.

The framework, which is intended will support the university’s internal legal team, has been divided into the following lots:

  1. Commercial and contracts.
  2. Information governance.
  3. Property and construction.
  4. Employment and pensions.
  5. Education.
  6. Company, governance and charity.

The successful firms were:

  • Bevan Brittan (lots 3, 4, 5)
  • Eversheds (1, 3, 4, 5, 6)
  • Pinsent Masons (2)
  • Shakespeare Martineau (1, 3, 4, 5, 6)
  • Shoosmiths (2)
  • VWV (1, 2, 6)

The contract was awarded on the basis of quality (weighting: 60) and price (weighting: 40).
