The City of Edinburgh Council has given notice of its plans to re-tender a framework for the provision of legal services that will be made available to other Scottish local authorities.

In a prior information notice Edinburgh said the framework would be divided into the following lots:

Commercial.
Property and Planning.
Litigation.
Employment.
Major Projects.
Debt Recovery.

It is expected that the new framework will be for a period of 2 years with the option (at the council’s discretion) to extend for a further 2 periods of 1 year each.
