North West housing group to set up its first legal services framework

A housing association with 19,000 homes in the North West and Yorkshire is to tender for its first legal services framework, which is expected to be in place for four years.

Great Places Housing Group, one of the fastest growing housing associations in the north of England, said: “The objective is to ensure the provision of complex and high quality legal advice and predefined services specifically for the social housing sector within a cost effective framework both for Great Places Housing Group and for other clients.”

The framework has been divided into the following lots:

1. Development and Plumlife Sales
2. Housing Service & Plumlife Management (Leasehold)
3. Finance
4. Human Resources
5. Governance & Information Technology
6. Procurement

The contract is scheduled to start on 3 December 2018 and run until 2 December 2022.
