Housing and public law specialist McKeown joins Field Court Chambers
Field Court Chambers has bolstered its housing and public law team with the arrival of Sarah McKeown.
- Details
McKeown appears regularly for, and advises, homeless applicants and public authorities in homelessness appeals, including second appeal and judicial review claims.
She also appears in the Court of Protection and has acted for the patient, members of their family and local authority.
Rebecca Handcock has meanwhile joined the set after completing a third six pupillage. Her areas of practice include housing, COP and public law.
She previously worked as a legal advisor at the Ministry of Defence and as a legal officer in The Attorney General’s Office.
John Critchley, Head of Chambers, said: ‘We are delighted to have made two impressive additions to our already strong housing team. Sarah is a well-established and highly regarded practitioner whose experience, particularly with public authorities, will complement other members of the team. Rebecca is starting out on her career at the independent bar with the advantage of having gained valuable experience in government legal departments.’
